Bolero is part of the American Rhythm style of dance. It is a slow dance much like Waltz, in that it has “rise and fall” mixed with smooth, Latin movements and bossa-nova based rhythms. This is a popular partner dance. Allegro teaches bolero and plays the music at ballroom parties, and Rodchata events are known to play it too sometimes.
