East Coast Swing

East Coast Swing emerged from the Lindy Hop style of American Swing which began in the first half of the 20th century. ECS is a useful dance for beginners to dip their toes in the water. Danced in “single time” or more often “triple time” rhythm, you will learn a variety of turns and spins in this fun dance that works with a wide variety of music styles played worldwide. Allegro regularly teaches East Coast Swing and plays it at the ballroom parties.
